Seize the Clay is proud to be the ONLY pottery studio in Memphis with a MOSAIC center. Mosaics are great fun for the whole family, any age can do it. Simply choose from our selection of over 50 wooden shapes. Once you have chosen your shape select the tiles that you want to use to decorate your piece(s) with. Simply glue the tiles to the wood in what ever pattern you design. Once you are finished you will take your Mosaic home and let it dry over night. After the piece is completely dry and the tiles are set you can grout your masterpiece at home. Grouting is very easy and the instructions are printed on your grout tub. Grout comes in black, white and taupe. It’s that easy!

The awesome thing about Mosaics is that you get to take your masterpiece home the same day you create it! Our helpful staff will give you instructions on how to begin. We also have Mosaic idea books to help you design your pieces. You are welcome to bring in any extras such as buttons, stones or any other special items to incorporate into your design.

The price of the Mosaic includes everything you need to complete your piece. We have all of the tools to cut the glass as well as safety glasses. The glass tiles are tumbled to remove sharp edges so it is safe for children. However children should be constantly supervised by an adult while working on their projects.

If you are interested in creating mosaic designs on large projects such as furniture or flower pots our colored Mosaic tiles are available for sale for $14.99 per pound. Additional grout is available for $2.99 per tub.
